Aurora Slot Car Race Video #11
Here we have an Aurora slot car race between a yellow Ford J and green VW Beetle ("Flower Power" T-Jet). This is the first video we recorded featuring a new track layout, which includes an intersection track. We ran this drive with the cars going opposite directions to make it more realistic at the intersection.
This was kind of a warm up video, we were both driving (with the camera stationary) and we kept messing up. But we thought there were some good parts so we decided to include the video.
This is one of the Ford J cars that we purchased from someone off eBay. The car runs really well.
This Volkswagon Beetle 'bug' is one of the first cars that I bought many years ago. This was also one of the cars that I used a "Hop-Up Kit" on.
Although two tune-ups were done on this car before the video, the car did not run all that well.
