This is Spots. We adopted Spots from the Humane Society of Central Illinois. Spots passed away, and we miss her a lot. She touched our lives while she was with us.
Spots was very lovable. She was definitely a people cat. She loved being around us, whether we were watching TV in the Living Room or Family Room, or eating in the Kitchen. Spots always wanted to be wherever we were. We are happy to share these pictures of Spots with everyone.

As you can see, Spots was a fluff ball at first.

At a birthday party, Spots was quick to join in the celebration.

This picture illustrates why Spots was named "Spots", with the two distinctive black spots on her back. At the Humane Society of Central Illinois, Spots name was "Sabrina".

Spots was very playful, although we could tell early on that she sometimes would misjudge jumping distances, or sort of stagger. At first we did not think too much of it because she was such a little kitten. But after a while, we realized she was sick. She had a liver problem.

Spots tries to get Mario's attention and wants to play, but Mario is more interested in the treats that are about to be distributed.

Come on Mario, let's play!

Maybe if I get my paws wrapped around him he will notice me.

Ahhh! Stop it!
But regardless of this early experience, Spots and Mario became very close in a short period of time.

One of Spots favorite places to take a quick nap.

Spots felt like she was outdoors as she sat in the flower arrangement.

Spots loved to soak up the sun in the porch window.

Spots also loved to nap on the top of a curio shelf that she could get to easily by stepping from a piece of furniture close by.

Hey, what are you doing? No cameras!

Spots liked warm laundry too. But what cat doesn't...

We never spoiled Spots. Really, we didn't.

Mealtime. Is this for me?

Sometimes Spots liked to grab at the funny looking spots on the computer monitor!

This was a favorite spot for Spots. This picture does a good job of showing Spots copper colored eyes.

An even closer look. Spots was a cutie.

Hey, scoot over a little bit!

Ah, the sun feels very good.

Nice picture of Spots.

Mario, Phoebe and Spots all trying to fit into the sun patch.

Hey, find your own spot...

Ah, more sun!

Here we have "bookends" Phoebe and Mario, with Spots in the middle. "There is not enough room on this TV for the three of us to lay down."

Spots enjoyed playing in her kitty condo.

Spots doesn't quite know what to make of the "Furbies" and "Shelby". (But then again, neither did we.)

Spots on the bed.

Spots liked to clean Mario.
We are grateful for the time Spots had with us.
