Phoebe came "home" to Angel, Stripe, and Mario. Phoebe passed away and we miss her a lot. She was a member of our family for a very long time. Phoebe was a playful kitten. Phoebe was a strong stocky cat, and she could easily whip any of the other cats in the household. However, as other cats picked on her, she would usually scurry off to hide somewhere.

Phoebe was a very colorful calico. Phoebe was somewhat of a nervous cat. If you bent over to pet Phoebe, she would run away. Yet if you were sitting in a chair, she might walk up to you, and let you pet her with your foot (with sock). She seemed to like that. Sometimes when Phoebe was in her bed, you could sit on the floor and she would let you pet her. Phoebe never liked to be picked up at all.

Little Phoebe wished she could go outside.
Phoebe was not the friendliest cat to people, but when Domino came home, Phoebe seemed to become a bit friendlier.

Phoebe finds a nice sun patch.

This is a nice picture of Phoebe, who seems unfazed by the camera.

Here's a nice spot.

And another nice spot.

And more...

Phoebe and Mario were always very close, as you can see in this picture and others. Mario surely misses Phoebe.

A closer look.

Boxes and messes never bothered Phoebe.

Phoebe grabs at a string as Mario watches.

Very cozy!

And again...

Here we see Phoebe resting in one of Mario's favorite spots.

Here they are again, and probably thinking, leave us alone!

Let's just ignore the human, maybe he will go away.

Another nice place to rest.

One more time.

Phoebe rests on a chair out on the porch.

Here she is again...

This is where Phoebe probably rested a lot whenever we were not at home. When we were around she usually would not jump up on the loveseat.

A nice shadowy picture of Phoebe.

Phoebe and Mario enjoying the sun on the porch.

Phoebe often kept an eye on things from a distance.

Ah, the rug in front of the sink, great spot.

Trying to take a nap.

A favorite picture of Phoebe.

No! You can't play with straws, I won't let you!

Phoebe loved shoes! The smellier the better. We had seen Phoebe stick her head into shoes as far as she could sometimes. Of course she liked my shoes the best!

Phoebe often sat on a Dining Room chair under the table. She had some privacy there, until one of the boys would start bugging her.

Phoebe always wished she could go outside.
