Other Critters

Here are pictures of some of the Other Critters that visit our yard occasionally.  There have been others too, however, some don't stick around long enough for pictures.

The Opossum and Bridgette

For a long time we were aware that an opossum lived somewhere nearby.  One day we happened to notice an opossum trotting from the side of our house towards the street, and then we saw why.  Bridgette, the neighbor's cat from across the street, was in pursuit!  We still have one or more opossums living somewhere nearby but we usually only see them at night.

We've also seen raccoons, one going into storm drain at the corner of the street, and another in our tree in the back yard.  We once had a fox on our front stoop that was screaming one night, and there have been more sightings.  We've seen hawks in the tree in front.  We once saw a deer between the houses across the street which was a surprise considering we are in a residential area not near any parks.
